Easy to disconnect and slide out the insulated Bladder. The few zip pockets are enough for me so I don't use the velcrow pouch. Sits high on my back and snug. Doesn't irritate me at all. I'm 6', 180lbs. Med/Lg is good, maybe a bit small for me. There's a bunch of adjustments that can be made though. The bite valve doesn't seem to have a have a place while running so I just tuck it under a strap. I am 5'10" 150 lbs and a Med/Lrg fits perfectly. I am training for a 100 miler and needed something that would get me through some long training runs. In years past, I have used a waist belt with two bottles, but I couldn't get in more than 3 hours without running out of fluid. Hydration belts always rubbed the back of my waist raw so the vest is a nice change. This is my first hydration vest so I was sure what to expect. I load this thing up with 50oz of water and take two additional bottles with me. There are two pockets in the front of the vest that the bottles can fit into but it is a little uncomfortable when starting out due to all the weight. I use the velco pocket in the front to carry my gel gummies and throw a couple of bars and my cell phone in the side pockets. There is enough room in the back pocket to stash my wind jacket and gloves and hat when running in the cold. The only things I don't like about it are: 1. The side pockets are a little far...
