I thought it would be a useless gadget, but, full marks to CRKT, it works really well! The turtle's feet provide a solid thumb-and-two-finger grip for my hands (when she lets me use it) and a good thumb-and-three-finger grip for her. The blade is long enogh to open packets and cut loose threads, and the knife fits easily into any purse or pocket. The action is smooth with no free-play.The only hiccup on this otherwise wonderful knife is the clip. The pink scales have little lugs that locate them securely on the knife; the clip doesn't have these and rotates in use, eventually loosening the little screw that hold it on.
