Recently I started professionally shooting videos and much of the time I have to be outside. I wasn't sure I could actually do the job until I got my CamelBak. It really works!The build quality of my CamelBak is excellent. In fact, mine is so nice my girlfriend bought one the day mine arrived. It's very easy to fill and use. I was amazed that the water had absolutely no "plastic" flavor. My girlfriend, who is very very picky was astonished by how good the water tastes. I'm a very big man and I was able to adjust the straps so that the pack was very comfortable. My girlfriend who is tiny compared to me can adjust the straps and the pack is just as comfortable on her. We both noticed that our packs full of ice and water felt nice and cool on our backs which further helped make us more comfortable. The design is ingenious. Purchased this with a cleaning kit prior to our camping trip. Wish these were issued items sooner; its absolutely superior to a canteen or water bottle.The main issue is filling in the field. You will get wet if you're dunking it to fill. If you've got bottles or canteens then that's a viable if not slower solution. Also more viable if the camelbak is stowed in your gear bag or backpack. The main seal is pretty heavy duty; you may have some trouble opening the main compartment because the first quarter turn takes some real force. Or I just over tighten it when I'm closing it back up. It's a moderately low profile hydration system. You will have to get creative if you want to drink hands-free without wearing other gear (like a backpack, MOLLE pack, day pack, etc...).
