Just bought this for camping to replace my old plastic piece of garbage. At first sight it looks like somebody just sealed the ends of an inner-tube,put handles and a spigot on it. BUT, its tough and water tastes fine. The rubber (inner tube) smell is powerful on the outside and I thought it might affect the taste of the water inside. Not so. 5 hours into filling it, the water still tastes sweet. I don't know about long term storage. I'm going to leave it for a few days see if taste changes.As the other reviewer noted it is probably the best for shower water. Leave it the sun and let it heat up and you have hot water.
